Although we have not discovered the mechanism by which this happens, sometimes a Windows update or an anti-virus scan will remove an essential DLL required by JDB, the ImageCraft debugger. Fortunately the fix is relatively easy.

First, if you have Atmel Studio installed on your computer;
1. Open "Add Remove Programs"
2. Select "Atmel Studio"
3. Click on "Modify"
4. Click on "Repair"

It may take a while for the process to complete, however it should restore the required DLL to the operating system.

If you do not have Atmel Studio installed on your computer:
1. Browse to the ImageCraft installation folder and then into "libusb-win32\bin\x86"
2. If you have a 64-bit computer:
i. Copy the file libusb0_x86.dll to c:\windows\syswow64
ii. rename the copied file libusb0.dll
3. If you have a 32-bit computer:
i Copy the file libusb0_x86.dll to c:\windows\system
ii. Rename the copied file libusb0.dll

Hopefully one of the above steps will fix the issue.
